Top 3 All-Time Christmas Gifts?
Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 10:13AM What are your all-time top 3 Christmas gifts?
Mine?
1. A red remote-control sports car from my Dad. I was too young at the time to even know what I was doing with it. I don't think I ever really used it correctly. I can still see it, though. Sweet...
2. A tie with a wolf on it from my sister Joanna, when I was about 14. I kept that thing for years.
3. A pair of Nike basketball shoes that I got 2-3 years ago. I have kept them in good shape and plan to continue doing so.

1. My crimper!!! I was the first girl in my school to get a crimper - man that thing was cool with all the different plates. I think I was in 4th grade at the time.
2. A homemade Christmas card from 2 of my munchkins I used to nanny -- I still have it, too.
3. Last year I got the GT Xpress!!!!
My 3 favorite Christmas gifts... hmmm. I guess I would have to say:
1. These old west style boots that I received from my mother and father when I was about 12. I thought they were the coolest boots ever; they snapped on the side and everything. Value City, man I miss that place.
2. My son bought me this funky firefly charm bracelet several years ago. It is/was memorable.
3. It wasn't actually a Christmas gift, but the diamond earrings my husband bought for me. They are the only diamond earrings I have ever had. :-)
My top three would be
1. The doll made entirely out of cloth that my parents gave me when I was three. I still have her, and cherish her. I named her Renee Lynn, as that would have been the name given to my sister.
2. A bookmark (I don't remember if it was for Christmas or not, but it was around that time.) that a Pastor's daughter in Machias, ME made for me, when I was 9. It had my name on it, and the cutest doll. It was cross stitched. I still have it too.
3. One year my parents gave me a stuffed toy dachshund. I used to pretend that thing was a real puppy, and would take it for walks, and feed it all the time. Still have it too.
2. My jewelry box. It looks like a picture frame hanging on the wall...and it opens to hold all of my jewelry. It's beautiful.
3. The only other gift that really stands out in my mind was a birthday gift and that was when my parents had my Bible rebound for me. It was falling apart, but I didn't want to replace it because of all the notes and sentimental value. It's now rebound in beautiful brown leather and looks better than it did brand new.
